Mongol Bank purchases 2.1 tons of gold in September

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Bank of Mongolia (BoM) reported today about statistical review on gold purchases for this September. According to the BoM, 2.1 tons of gold were bought in September. As of first nine months of this year, the gold purchase reached 14.3 tons, which shows 378 kg decrease compared to the same period of the previous year. Within its campaign ‘Gold of native country for the treasury’, the BoM aims to increase gold purchase to 22 tons this year.
