More Dialogues To Be Held To Provide Clarity To Foreign Investors, InvestKL

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 19 (Bernama) -- InvestKL, in collaboration with the government, will organise more interactions and dialogues with industry players to continuously provide better clarity and confidence to foreign investors. In a statement, it said participants found the recent roundtable, jointly organised by Invest KL, the Ministry of Finance and the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, beneficial as it provided insights and guidelines on the policies and other procedures related to the ministry and its agencies. KL Invest chief executive officer Zainal Amanshah said the roundtable focused on providing investors clarity, certainty, consistency, continuity and confidence on the ease of doing business. He said over 40 participants from the European and American embassies, business chambers, as well as, representatives from 18 countries including Belgium, Norway, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Portugal, Sweden, the European Union and United States, participated in the dialogue. “The roundtable’s main objective was to understand the various challenges faced by industry players, represented by their embassies and business chambers, and on the progress of their investments in Malaysia.
