National Bank of Bahrain wins Citi 2017 Performance Excellence Award

Manama, Nov. 7 (BNA): National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has received a special award from Citi Bahrain for the Bank’s leadership in the payment space. The Citi 2017 Performance Excellence Award is a prestigious honour presented to leading financial institutions worldwide, for achieving high rates of Straight- through Processing (STP). NBB achieved a Treasury STP Rate of 99 per cent and Commercial STP rate 95 per cent during 2017. Correspondent Banking Group Director at Citi, Abdul Mohsin Al Mahdi presented the Award to NBB’s Chief Executive – Treasury, Capital Markets & Wealth Management, Hussain Al Hussaini. Al Hussaini thanked Citi Treasury and Trade Solutions Team for presenting the award to NBB and said that it was a great honour for NBB to be recognised for the high quality of its payment performance and standards by a globally recognized international financial institution. Al Mahdi congratulated NBB and its team for achieving this high standard of excellence, wishing the Bank continued success in the years to come.
