Negotiations on cooperation of the CIS Chambers of Commerce and Industry

Astana, June 19 Khabar - Kazakhstan's Prime-Minister Karim Massimov has met with a group of the heads of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the CIS-states headed by the Chairman of the Executive Committee, the Executive Secretary of CIS Sergey Lebedev.
Representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Latvia informed the Prime-Minister about the outcomes of the last meeting of the heads of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of CIS.
They outlined that the chambers became a more effective tool in arranging contacts between businessmen.
They also stated about activating of cooperation in the sphere of supporting small and medium-sized businesses, business information exchange, and training of staff.
Karim Massimov noted that the chambers can play a considerable role in the development of the CIS economic integration.
"It is a unique ground to discuss and solve common issues of our countries," the Prime-Minister said.
