NSTDA Investors’ Day 2012 set on Sept 20

BANGKOK, September 12 (TNA) - Thailand’s National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) will organize the NSTDA Investors' Day 2012 on September 20, in a bid to apply research projects into commercial use for national interest, as part of the country's preparations for free flows of trade and all other areas by 2015 when the ASEAN Economic Community or AEC is scheduled to be established. NSTDA Investors' Day will be held at the Centara Grand Hotel CentralWorld in the heart of Bangkok. The event will serve as a platform to introduce 10 highlighted locally-developed technologies and 50 inventions; while investors and researchers will also have a good opportunity to do their one-on-one business negotiations. NSTDA chief Dr.Thaweesak Koanantakul said that the event will introduce NSTDA's five outstanding inventions worth investing as well such as acne pads, solid oxide catalysts derived from egg shells for bio diesel production, microbial detection, portable oxygen tester and fine-particulate measuring device.
