OTC Asia 2016 Discusses Asia's O&G Technology Development

KUALA LUMPUR, March 25 (Bernama) -- The just concluded Offshore Technology Conference Asia 2016 (OTC Asia 2016) deliberated in depth on the oil and gas technology development in the region. OTC Asia advisory committee chairman Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin said the four-day conference drew over 20,000 energy professionals to various high-level sessions, multi-stream technical programmes and an oil and gas (O&G) technology exhibition. "Asia's achievements, aspirations and important technological developments with perspectives from within and outside the oil and gas industry were discussed in depth," Wan Zulkiflee, who is also Petronas president and group chief executive officer, said in a statement Friday. Themed "Excellence in Asia", OTC Asia is backed by Petronas, a Malaysian oil and gas company as it corporate supporting organisation. The national oil company played a pivotal role in bringing OTC to Asia and establishing OTC Asia as the region's premier offshore event. --BERNAMA
