Partnership between public, private sectors reaffirmed

Manama, Nov. 2 (BNA): Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed R. Alzayani said "the Government of Bahrain supports all initiatives and projects that contribute to activate the economic activities in the commercial, industrial and tourism fields, and continues to provide facilitations to such projects and to reflect the partnership between the public and the private sectors." The minister's remarks came on Tuesday as he inaugurated El Mercado mall a subsidiary of First Bahrain company, in Janabiya in the presence of ambassadors, Governor of the Northern Governorate Ali Al Asfoor, businesswomen and entrepreneurs, Bahrain First company board chairman Waleed Al Khaja, board members and CEO Ameen Al Arrayedh. Alzayani praised the "initiatives and projects of the Bahraini private sector in creating and introducing high value-added economic projects in the national economy." He reaffirmed the government's support such initiatives that contribute in the national economy.
