PIHEC 2022 Will Assemble Manufacturers, Buyers From Southeast Asia

GEORGE TOWN (Penang, Malaysia), July 1 (Bernama) -- The largest halal event in Malaysia’s northern state Penang, the Penang International Halal Expo & Conference (PIHEC) 2022 will bring together the best manufacturers and buyers from Southeast Asia. State Trade, Industry and Entrepreneur Development Committee chairman Abdul Halim Hussain said PIHEC 2022, to be held from July 1-3, would bring together players from the food and beverage, healthcare, cosmetics, financial services, fashion, technology and logistics sectors. “Entrepreneurs who participate in this expo will be able to maximise their network through the PIHEC 2022 Business Match to identify potential new business partners,” he said in a statement here Thursday. A total of 161 exhibition stalls covering various business sectors in the halal industry will be opened for the public to visit for free. PIHEC 2022 will also host a conference on post-COVID-19 business coordination, where panels will discuss various topics such as the adaptation of sustainable halal technology, logistical challenges due to high inflation and global food security. -- BERNAMA
