PTT, Thailand Post jointly promote community products

BANGKOK, November 17 (TNA) - PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) and Thailand Post Co., Ltd. (Thailand Post) have joined forces to widely promote the country's community products through the retail and the e-commerce systems. Under the agreement concluded in Bangkok on November 16, PTT has opened sale counters for Thailand Post at its six gasoline stations where community products from across the country are gathered and distributed to local outlets or directly to local consumers visiting the PTT gas stations. Besides, consumers can order local community products through the e-commerce system at the Thailand Post website, www.thailandpostmart.com, the online channel of which also provides an option for buyers to collect OTOP items they order at the Thailand Post's retail counters located at the six PTT gas stations. Auttapol Rerkpiboon, PTT Chief Operating Officer, Downstream Petroleum Business Group and Acting Senior Executive Vice President, Downstream Business Group Alignment, told journalists, meanwhile, that the agreed cooperation is based on the PTT Living Community concept, under which PTT plays a role as a promotional center for local community products, and based on the Thailand Post's project on the promotion of community goods under the government-supported One Tambon, One Product (OTOP) Program and the promotion of local small and medium-sized enterprises trading OTOP items.
