Qatar Central Bank Issues QR 6 Billion Treasury Bills, Sukuk

Doha, December 27 (QNA) - Qatar Central Bank (QCB) issued Tuesday Treasury Bills and Sukuk worth QR 6 billion. In a tweet, QCB said that it issued QR 6 billion Treasury Bills and Sukuk for one week, one month, three months, six months and nine months, distributed as follows: QR 500 million for one week at an interest rate of 5.0050 percent: QR 500 million for one month at an interest rate of 5.0625 percent; QR 2 billion for three months at an interest rate of 5.1450 percent; QR 1.7 billion for six months at an interest rate of 5.2025 percent; QR 1.3 billion for nine months at an interest rate of 5.2500 percent. The auction attracted a record amount of bids totaling QR 11.46 billion. (QNA)
