Qatar Chamber Discussed Cooperation Fields with Peru Trade Delegation

Doha, June 13 (QNA) - Qatar Chamber held a meeting on Thursday with a trade delegation from Peru to discuss ways to strengthen trade relations and prospects for building bilateral partnership between business owners in both countries in sectors such as agriculture, metals, textiles and real estate. During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues of mutual interest. They also discussed ways of organizing a visit this year for a delegation of businessmen from Peru, representing various economic sectors, to the State of Qatar in order to hold meetings with Qatari businessmen and review opportunities in both countries. Qatar Chamber Second vice-chairman Rashid Al Athba expressed hope that this meeting contributes to exploiting many opportunities for businessmen from both sides and works to strengthen bilateral cooperation in sectors serving the economy of both countries. He confirmed that the chamber is ready to encourage cooperation between Qatari companies and their counterparts in Peru, through a combining business owner of both countries, which contributes to increasing mutual cooperation between them. He hoped that the coming period will see more efforts to strengthen the relations between the private sector in Qatar and its counterpart in Peru. Head of the Peru delegation Victor Lescano Zevallos said the businessmen in his country are seeking to know the Qatari market, discussing the opportunities for business available and cooperating between the companies in both countries in several sectors, especially sectors in which Peru has been distinguished, such as agriculture, textile and others.
