Qatar Chamber Discusses Enhancing Trade Cooperation with Indonesian Delegation

Doha, March 15 (QNA) - Qatar Chamber today held a meeting with a delegation of the Indonesian Professional Engineers Association headed by President of the union and Vice-President of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Raswari Anwar. The two sides discussed ways of cooperation and exploring investment opportunities available in Indonesia. Following the meeting, Anwar said that in Indonesia has potential investment opportunities in all sectors, including oil and gas, agriculture, food, services, industry and other sectors, at a time when the country is rich in natural resources, making it a large market open to Qatari investors, especially with the incentives and facilities granted by the government to foreign investors, as well as the abundance of land and skilled labor. It is noteworthy that trade between Qatar and Indonesia last year exceeded USD 342 million. (QNA)
