Qatar Chamber Meets Delegation of Georgian Businessmen

Doha, October 05 (QNA) - Qatar Chamber held Wednesday a meeting with a delegation of businessmen from Georgia visiting Qatar. They discussed enhancing economic relations and the investment opportunities in Georgia. They focused in particular on opportunities in tourism, real estate, energy, construction and agriculture sectors. Vice Chairman of Qatar Chamber Mohamed bin Ahmed Bin Tawar said that Qatar Chamber was a platform for Qatari and Georgian businessmen to meet and discuss activating partnerships to benefit the private and the economy of both countries. He noted that trade volume between the two countries reached QR390 million in 2015, which he deemed as not in line with the ambitions of the people. He stressed that the chamber was encouraging Georgian businessmen and companies to partner with their Qatari counterparts to increase trade volume. (QNA)
