Qatar Stock Exchange Gains 38.50 Points

Doha, July 24 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 38.50 points (+0.37 percent) when the bourse closed trading at 10,549.75 points Wednesday. The volume of shares traded increased to 55,824,652 from 51,182,901 on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR175,916,717.55 from QR162,146,035.79 on Tuesday. From the 48 companies listed on QSE, shares of 44 saw trading today. From these, 18 companies gained, 21 closed lower, while five remaining company unchanged. Indices of six sectors ended in green zone and one sector in red zone today. QSE Total Return Index gained 0.37 percent to 19,412.43 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index increased 0.34 percent to 4,063.27 points and QSE All Share Index increased 0.33 percent to 3,114.37 points. (QNA)
