Qatar Stock Exchange Index Falls 1.38 Percent

Doha, August 31 (QNA) - The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange recorded today a decrease of 187.72 points, or 1.38 percent, to reach 13,425.6 points. During today's session, 251,180,934 shares were traded, with a value of QR 1,739,371.711, as a result of implementing 24,750 deals in all sectors. In the session, the shares of six companies rose, while the prices of 36 companies decreased, and three companies maintained their previous closing prices. At the end of the trading session, the market capitalization reached QR 748,224,336,346.040. (QNA)
