Qatargas Recognized with Shell Award for Safety Performance

Doha, February 03 (QNA) - Qatargas was awarded the Shell Goal Zero Award in recognition of its continued excellent safety performance after completing ten million man-hours without serious leaks or incidents. The award aims to promote and build a strong safety culture in the industry by recognizing and celebrating great safety performance. Receiving the award, Qatargas Chief Operating Officer Ahmad Helal Al-Mohannadi expressed appreciation for the award. "Our safety program is first and foremost about caring for our people. Qatargas Management is fully committed to ensure safe operation and to provide a safe work environment for our employees and contractors. We accept no compromise in this area. This achievement is the result of our belief in the Incident and Injury Free culture which is integrated in all our activities. Qatargas highly appreciates the support received from our shareholder partners and looks forward to continued improvement of our safety performance."
