Qatargas Staff And Contractors Donate Blood

Doha, March 14 (QNA) - Qatargas employees and contractors donated blood at two separate events by the company's Medical Department along with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) at the Qatargas Doha Head Office and Ras Laffan Headquarters. HMC despatched a fully equipped mobile blood donation unit along with a team of medical professionals and parked at the Qatargas premises for the blood donation drive. Qatargas Medical Center personnel assisted HMC staff. Qatargas has been organising blood donation campaigns at its premises over the past 15 years, in cooperation with HMC, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the company said. Hundreds of Qatargas employees and contractors have donated blood during these campaigns. The Company organizes four blood donation drives each year, two in Doha and two in Ras Laffan. Qatargas supports as a platinum sponsor the 'World Blood Donor Day' organised by HMC over the past three years. (QNA)
