QEWC Reports QR 1.5 Billion Profit in 2015

Doha, February 03 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange-listed (QSE) Qatar Electricity and Water Company (QEWC) reports a net profit of QR 1,501 Million for the financial year ended December 31, 2015. The utilities provider reported a net profit of QR 1,530 Million for the same period in 2014, a QSE bulletin said today. The company's Earnings per Share (EPS) edged down to QR 13.64 compared to QR 13.91 for the same period of the previous year. The company board recommends the General Assembly to approve the distribution of cash dividends equivalent to 75% of the share's par value to shareholders. The General Assembly will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel. (QNA)
