QNB Issues Formosa Bonds

Doha, April 18 (QNA) - QNB Group announced another successful completion of a Formosa bond issuance under its Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) programme, dual listed on the Taipei and London Stock Exchanges. Under this programme, a $850 million tranche was issued with a maturity of 3 years. The issuance was part of QNB Groups strategy to diversify funding from new markets. The Reg S issue attracted strong interest from investors globally, especially Asia, and was arranged by Standard Chartered Bank (Taiwan) Limited. This success confirms the trust of international investors in QNB Groups strategy and the strength of its financial position. (QNA)
