QSE to Participate in WFE 56th Meetings

Doha, October 30 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) will participate in the 56th General Assembly and Annual Meetings of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), slated for 2-4 November 2016, in Cartagena, Colombia. According to its statement issued taday, QSE will be represented in the meeting by its Chief Executive Officer Rashid bin Ali Al Mansoori. The event, hosted by Bolsa de Valores de Colombia (BVC), will see more than 300 delegates, representing more than 200 global exchange and CCP institutions, with a public programme of 16 key note speeches and panel sessions, in addition to member-only sessions for the Working Committee and Board. QSE has joined WFE in 2013 and has been an active member ever since and QSE has been represented in the Board of Directors from the start since Al Mansoori was elected a Board Director in 2014 representing MENA, Europe and the Middle East. QSE organized the very successful General Assembly in Doha in 2015. (QNA)
