Russia, China sign space cooperation program for 2018-2022

BEIJING, November 1. /TASS/. The Russian and Chinese top space officials signed a program for developing space cooperation in 2018-2022 on Wednesday. During a ceremony, held as part of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev’s visit to China, Roscosmos chief Igor Komarov and the head of the China National Space Administration, Tang Dengjie, put their signatures under the document. The agreement envisages cooperation in rocket- and engine-building industries, joint studies of the Moon and Mars, deep-space research and other areas. On Monday Medvedev has already had an informal meeting with Premier of the Chinese State Council Li Keqiang. Read more
