Russia, Iran discussing contracts totally worth $10 bln - Novak

MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. Russia and Iran are discussing contracts totally worth $10 bln, Russia’s Energy Minister Alexander Novak said Monday. "The range is huge. We discussed (contracts - TASS) totally worth around 10 bln dollars today," Novak said following the meeting of Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov with Iran’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology and co-head of the intergovernmental Russian-Iranian commission Mahmoud Vaezi. Earlier on Monday Vaezi and Novak discussed bilateral documents being prepared. According to Iranian Minister, eight documents are ready and six are being prepared. As reported earlier the visit of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to Moscow is planned for end-March. The Iranian side expects presidents to sign a roadmap of Iran-Russia cooperation for the mid- and long-term, the Minister said. The countries can expand cooperation in the energy, banking, trade and transport areas, he added. Read more
