Sabah Govt Wants To See Trade Flourish Between Sabah And China

KOTA KINABALU (Sabah, Malaysia) Jan 29 (Bernama) – Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman said the state government will give its full backing to the private sector to boost Sabah-China trade. “Sabah has been a trade partner with China since pre-independence days. The state has also received a sizeable number of immigrants from the Chinese mainland in the past. “Now trade and investment with China are booming. We have opened up much opportunities in the oil and gas, agriculture and infrastructure sectors,” he said in his speech in conjunction with the 44th anniversary of Malaysia- China diplomatic relations and 5th anniversary celebration of the Ma Zhong Friendship Association here Sunday night.
