SET to resume overseas roadshows in mid-2014
BANGKOK, March 14 (TNA) - The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) plans to resume its overseas roadshows in May 2014, as there are now positive signs of foreign investors returning to the Thai bourse.
SET President Charamporn Jotikasthira told journalists of the plan on Friday, pointing out that the positive signs include rising share prices in the United States.
Charamporn said the SET, which has postponed its roadshows since early this year due to domestic political tension, will first resume its roadshows in Britain and Scandinavia in May, followed by those in Singapore, the United States, Canada and Hong Kong in June and
in Japan and Hong Kong, again, in July.
During the roadshows, Charamporn noted, the Thai stock market, will present operational results of listed companies which happen as expected and the outlook of better Thai businesses in the second half of this year, in line with the recovering global economy.(TNA)
