South Africa calls Turkish investors
BURSA (A.A) - South Africa's Ambassador in Ankara Tebogo Seokolo called on Turkish businessmen to invest in his country.
Seokolo visited Turkey's northwestern province of Bursa on Tuesday upon an invitation by Uludag Exporters' Association.
Speaking in a seminar, Seokolo said that Republic of South Africa was an important door which was opened to 14-country Union of South Africa.
Calling Turkish businessmen to invest in South Africa, Seokolo said that South Africa had the six percent of total population of Africa, as well as 25 percent of total gross domestic product, 40 percent of total industrial production, 45 percent of total mining products and 50 percent of purchasing power of Africa.
Seokolo said that South Africa was an important door to open Africa in the aspects of energy production, transportation, communication, investment and social services network.
He wanted the cooperation between Turkey and South Africa to continue by increasing.
