Jakarta, Jan 11 (ANTARA) - State surveyor company PT Sucofindo said it has set income target at Rp2.44 trillion this year or an increase of 62.66 percent from last year`s estimated income of Rp1.5 trillion. "The target is expected to be reached as a result of reformulation and transformation of business," company`s president Arif Safari said here on Friday. The transformation program includes creation of culture of high performance, prime operational excellence, optimization of innovation and scientific management and maintenance of services to sustain performance improvement. "This year there are 39 projects under Sucofindo initiatives based on the business transformation program," Arif said. Through the transformation program, Sucofindo hopes to chalk up Rp123.3 billion in after tax profit this year, up from Rp28.8 billion in 2012. Under its business reformulation program, Sucofindo has invested in laboratory of Coal Bed Methane (CBM) Gas Desorption and Analysis since September 2012. Currently Sucofindo, which has branches in 33 locations, 52 laboratories and 90 service points all over the country, has a 20% share of the market of certification and examination services in the country, Arif said. He said in 2013, Sucofindo will set aside Rp120 billion for capital expenditure to be used to replace equipment or examination machine and laboratory equipment in a number of locations.
