Tasnim Opens 6th Korean Restaurant

KUALA LUMPUR, June 14 (Bernama) – Tasnim Food Industries Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with South Korean investors, has opened its sixth Tasnim Gangjungene restaurant here offering halal South Korean food. Deputy Entrepreneur Development Minster Mohd Hatta Ramli expressed hope Tasnim could expand its restaurant chain to South Korea in future. “More Malaysian tourists are visiting Korea and vice versa, so such food will be in demand with Malaysians’ high level of interest in Korean food,” he said after the launch of the Tasnim Gangjungene restaurant and entrepreneur training centre here Friday. Mohd Hatta said the government would continue to support prospective entrepreneurs in their business ventures. “We will help them as much as possible in the effort to make Malaysia an entrepreneurial nation in line with the government’s aspiration,” he said. Meanwhile, Tasnim Food Industries director Rafizan Razak said the collaboration would create opportunities for young entrepreneurs to start their business under Tasnim Gangjungene’s umbrella. “We will also guide entrepreneurs wishing to open a restaurant, mini food truck, kiosk and the like to suit their budget,” he said. The company plans to open more Tasnim Gangjungene franchise outlets nationwide to add to the six already in the Klang Valley. -- BERNAMA
