Tatweer Petroleum appoints Ghassan Al-Muhanna Acting Managing Director

Manama, Nov. 18 (BNA): The Board of Directors of Tatweer Petroleum - Bahrain Field Development Company W.L.L. (“Tatweer Petroleum”) chaired by Faisal Al Mahroos, has approved the appointment of Ghassan Ali Al Muhanna as Acting Managing Director of Tatweer Petroleum with effect from today. James Kenneth Eastlack, will be retiring from the role of Chief Executive Officer of Tatweer Petroleum effective 10 December 2021. Al Muhanna will assume all responsibilities of the Chief Executive Officer role with immediate effect until further notice. Al Mahroos commended Eastlack for his long flourishing tenure as Chief Executive Officer and expressed his appreciation for Mr. Eastlack’s tireless efforts in ensuring Tatweer Petroleum’s success as the national oil and gas upstream operator. “Jim has been an invaluable asset to Tatweer and his efforts have resulted in stabilised production and the identification of new opportunities, building a strong future for Tatweer” said Al Mahroos. “I wish Jim the very best on behalf of the Board and welcome Ghassan to his new role as Acting Managing Director.”
