Thailand's banks assure sufficient cashes during Lunar New Year

BANGKOK, January 25 (TNA) - Commercial banks in Thailand have assured sufficient cashes provided for people's withdrawals at their all channels during the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration nationwide. Bangkok Bank, for instance, has announced to reserve a total of about 50 billion baht cashes to serve clients through its all automatic teller machines (ATMs) and opening branches, including those located at shopping centers and supermarkets. Besides, Bangkok Bank will fill up cashes at its ATMs nationwide more frequently during the Chinese New Year celebration early next month. Likewise, Kasikornbank (KBank) and Bank of Ayudhya (BAY) have also announced to reserve a total of cashes of about 48 billion baht and 21.63 billion baht respectively to serve their clients through their ATMs and opening branches nationwide during this year's Lunar New Year celebration.
