Vuttikrai told journalists that under the MOC, Shopee and his department (DBD) have agreed to co-work on selecting high quality Thai community products nationwide to be promoted and sold on the Shopee online platform.
Besides, his department will assist the business operators of the selected Thai community products in developing their marketing and business management strategies.
According to the senior official, there have been 473 items of selected Thai community products of five categories, including food and beverages, health and beauty, bags, toys and childcare, as well as books and stationery, on sale internationally on the Shopee platform so far.
