Thailand's Motor Expo 2016 set Dec 1-12

BANGKOK, November 30 (TNA) - International visitors are welcome to Thailand's Motor Expo 2016, set to be held at Challenger Halls 1-3 of IMPACT Trade and Exhibition Centre in Muang Thong Thani on the outskirts of Bangkok during December 1-12. The Automotive Industry Club of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) expects that the 33rd Motor Expo should stimulate domestic car sales to meet its target of 750,000 units totally by the end of this year and attract about 1.5 million international visitors to the event, generating public spending of over 50 billion baht. It is also expected that 45,000-47,000 units of vehicles should be booked at the 13-day Motor Expo, 65 per cent of which should be personal cars and sale volumes of compact cars at the event should increase this year. A total of 37 carmakers from nine countries and 21 motorcycle brands from eight countries around the world will participate in the Motor Expo 2016. (TNA)
