Toyota Turkey aims to increase production in 2013

SAKARYA (A.A) - March 5, 2012 - Toyota Turkey, based in Sakarya, aims to increase production in 2013. Speaking to AA correspondent, Toyota Turkey's CEO Orhan Ozer said that the earthquake and tsunami disaster in Japan caused great problems in the country, stating that these disasters also negatively affected automotive supply industry. "We had problems regarding auto spare parts," he said. Ozer said that 2012 would also be a tough year, stating that production would drop this year. As of 2013, the company would start to grow, he said. Ozer said that they would focus on new model project and production in 2013.
