Turkey to share tourism experience with Crimea
ANKARA (A.A) - November 1, 2011 - Turkish Culture & Tourism Minister Ertugrul Gunay has said that Turkey would share its experiences in tourism with Crimean Autonomous Republic.
We aim to attract people from far markets to visit our countries, added Gunay who met Crimean Autonomous Republic's Deputy Prime Minister Georgiy Pisore in Ankara on Tuesday.
Crimea has a big potential in tourism, said Gunay adding that Crimean officials considered to make cooperation with Turkish tourism sector.
They will attend a fair which will take place in Turkey's western Izmir province in coming months as well as a tourism fair which will be held in Istanbul in February, he said.
Gunay noted that they would gather Turkey-Crimea tourism forum, and he expressed pleasure over making cooperation with Crimea in tourism.
Meanwhile, Pisore said that they could cooperate to draw tourists, who would come from countries such as Japan and China, both in Istanbul and Crimea.
Noting that they also wanted to benefit from potential and opportunities of Turkish Airlines (THY), Pisore said that they would like to host Turkish travel agencies' representatives as well as tourism companies executives in the fair which would take place in Yalta in February.
