Turkey's Central Bank keeps overnight borrowing interest rate same at 1.5 percent
ANKARA (A.A) - 23.03.2011 - Turkish Central Bank has kept the overnight borrowing interest rate same at 1.5 percent.
Releasing a statement after its Monetary Policy Board meeting on Wednesday, Central Bank said that it also kept the lending interest rate same at 9 percent and one-week repo auction interest rate same at 6.25 percent.
The bank said that inflation figures for basic goods would continue to get higher for sometime more and that inflation in the services sector would rise only slightly.
