Turkish companies inaugurate constructions as part of Turkmenistan's independence celebrations

ASHKHABAD (A.A) - October 29, 2011 - Turkish companies inaugurated on Saturday several constructions within the scope of celebrations of 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence. Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow opened a wedding hall built by Turkey's Polimeks Insaat, and a 41-km motorway constructed also by the same construction company.  Moreover, Berdimuhamedow inaugurated an international horse breeding complex built by Etkin Yapi. The wedding hall cost about 101 million Euro, the motorway cost 179.5 million USD, and the horse breeding complex cost about 150 million USD. Turkmenistan declared its independence on October 27, 1991.  Turkish companies have undertaken projects worth 26 billion USD in Turkmenistan in 20 years.
