Turkish fixed-line operator signs sponsor agreement with ManU

ISTANBUL (A.A) - March 5, 2012 - Turkish fixed-line operator Turk Telekom said it had penned a sponsorship agreement with English soccer team Manchester United. Turk Telekom said the deal covers the English club's "mobile communication rights, online gaming rights, social media projects, rights related to the United's soccer schools as well as other marketing and entertainment rights" for a three-year period.  The Turkish operator said the deal includes an online soccer game developed by Sobee, a Turk Telekom affiliate, which would feature Manchester United's licensed products, free tickets to United's games in Britain as well as soccer school programs for young Turkish soccer players.
