UK company eyes to assist Thailand on technological development

BANGKOK, Feb 3 (TNA) - Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra says that a UK technology outsourcing and consultant company, Accenture, is eyeing to assist Thailand on technologal development. Yingluck said Accenture plans to expand its investment in Southeast Asian region, noting in particular that the UK firm has positive perception of investing in Thailand. The company is also willing to assist the Thai government in formulating national development strategies The Thai premier told reporters of the UK technology outsourcing company’s intentions after its executive, David Tomlinson, paid a courtesy called on her at Bangkok's Government House on Thursday. Premier Yingluck insisted that the Thai government is ready to lend support to the Accenture, as the collaboration will further boost development in advance technologies, E-learning and administrative skills of Thai personnel.(TNA)
