Vietnam’s President receives Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem

HANOI,14th December, 2016 (WAM) -- Vietnam’s President Tran Dai Quang met Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and CEO of DP World, at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi on Tuesday. During the meeting, the duo discussed current and future investment opportunities in trade and logistics, and the challenges that the group could face while operating in Vietnam. They also discussed ways to overcome these challenges and enhance partnership between the UAE and Vietnam. Nawaf Nassir Abdulla, Chief Operating Officer, DP World, Saigon Premier Container Terminal, and Ali Zayed Alzeyoudi, Acting Charge d’Affaires of the UAE Embassy in Hanoi, also attended the meeting. Alzeyoudi praised the pivotal role played by the Emirati investment companies, especially DP World, to develop strategic partnership between the UAE and Vietnam.
