Chambers of Commerce of turkic states to develop cooperation in business

BishkekJuly 5, 2023. /Kabar/. An Extraordinary Meeting of the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry was held in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan said Wednesday.

During the meeting an agreement was reached on systematic solution of issues related to searching new partners for business, creation of favorable conditions for entrepreneurship, simplification of tax and customs administration as well as strengthening of legal protection of business entities.

The main goal of the event was to study international experience and its application in practice, as well as exchange of views between representatives of different member countries of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Each of the participating countries presented its advantages in taxation, licensing and obtaining permits for entrepreneurial activities.

The Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkic Countries was established in 2023 on the basis of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It is an international platform aimed at the development of relations and cooperation between the countries of the Turkic world.

Currently, five countries are members of the Council: Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan. Hungary and Turkmenistan have observer status.

In his speech, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariev emphasized the importance of cooperation and focused on the development of relations in the areas of trade, transport, energy and agriculture. The event also included B2B meetings of business circles of the Turkic states.
