Chief of General Staff of Mauritanian Armed Forces Meets with IMCTC Delegation

Nouakchott, September 26, 2023, SPA -- A joint working session was held today in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott, between the Chief of General Staff of the Mauritanian Armed Forces and the delegation of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), led by the IMCTC Secretary-General, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi.
According to the official Mauritanian News Agency (AMI), this meeting is part of the working visit of the IMCTC to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, aimed at enhancing the existing cooperation between Mauritania and the IMCTC, particularly in the fight against terrorism.
The working session focused on discussing the cooperation between the Chief of General Staff of the Mauritanian Armed Forces and the IMCTC Secretariat General and ways to strengthen it, especially in the field of counterterrorism.
