Construction of Anti-Tidal Dykes Completed in DPRK

Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) -- Units of the Korean People's Army are making innovations in the construction of anti-tidal dykes in South Hwanghae and South Phyongan provinces.

The field guidance teams worked out a stepwise goal and plan for unconditionally completing the project in the period set by the Party and at the level required by the Party and conducted operations and command while giving priority to political work.

The construction of anti-tidal dyke in South Hwanghae Province was successfully completed thanks to the efforts of the service personnel of the People's Army, who have kept in mind the noble intention of the Party Central Committee to steadily and safely develop the country's agriculture free from crop failure.

Several anti-tidal dykes in South Phyongan Province were completed one after another.

Achievements are also witnessed at Phyongwon, Jungsan and Sukchon counties. -0-
