Council of Representatives Speaker meets Saudi Shura Council Speaker

Marrakech, June 13 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallem stressed the importance of reinforcing parliamentary relations with the Saudi Shura Council.

He hailed longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The Speaker made the statement as he met Saudi Shura Council Speaker Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Sheikh, on the sidelines of the interfaith dialogue conference, being held in Marrakesh, Morocco.

In the statement, he commended the pivotal role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting humanitarian causes and defending Arab and Islamic interests.

Dr. Al Sheikh praised bilateral relations ountries, noting steadily-growing relations across all fields, supported by the leaderships of both countries.
