During His Meeting With Aboul Gheit.. Minister Of Justice: We Asked To Host The 39th Session Of The Arab Justice Ministers Council Meeting

Baghdad / NINA / - Minister of Justice Khaled Shawani met in Cairo today with the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.

Shawani said, according to a statement by the ministry, that the new Iraqi government possesses a strong vision and will and is moving steadily towards implementing its governmental program at all political, economic and security levels, carrying out radical reforms and achieving economic development.

He pointed out: The government enjoys popular and political support, and Iraq enjoys a stable political and security situation at the international level, pointing out that the government adopts a policy of openness and moderation and establishing the best relations with its brothers.

Shawani confirmed: Iraq requested to host the 39th session of the Arab Justice Ministers' Council meeting in Baghdad, expressing the aspiration to support the General Secretariat of the League for Iraq's request in this regard.

For his part, Aboul Gheit affirmed: Iraq deserves to regain its true role in all fields and levels, especially its active presence in the League of Arab States, appreciating Iraq's role in supporting the League./ End
