Iranian animation ‘The Kitten’ in Amsterdam

Tehran, Nov 10, IRNA – Iranian animation ‘The Kitten’ directed by Shiva Sadeq Asadi was screened in Amsterdam, Netherlands marking its 20th international attendance. The 11-minute production screened in Amsterdam's Klik Animation Festival as the only Iranian work that was selected for the competition section of ‘Emerging Animation Countries’. The competition section of ‘Emerging Animation Countries’ featured works from Iran, Singapore, Turkey, Mexico, Tunisia, Afghanistan, Ghana, Iraq and India for 75 minutes. Amsterdam's Klik Animation Festival, held from November 4-9, 2014 in the EYE Filmmuseum, received over 1500 animated short films from over 70 countries. The festival awarded the bests of animated short, student short, commissioned, political short, music video as well as works selected by the audience and young Amsterdam audience. The work is produced by the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA) Founded in 2007 KLIK Amsterdam Animation Festival is a yearly festival for short animation films./end
