Iranian Animation Wins Prize In Baku Youth Film Festival

Baku, Dec 2, IRNA – At the 8th International Youth Film Festival in Azerbaijan Republic, Iranian animation movie named 'Play' won a prize for the best movie in international section. The movie is directed by Jamal Rahmati. The prize for the best long movie was presented to a Turkish director, the best documentary movie to a German and the best experimental movie to a Russian director. In the national sector of the festival, the prize for the best long movie was given to 'Eternal prisoner' directed by Towghrol Kamal and the prize for the best experimental movie 'Motive' directed by Amin Kamal. During the 3-day festival 87 movies were displayed. The festival wrapped up on Friday November 30, 2012. Iranian movie director Tahmine Milani was one of five woman referees of the festival who judged the movies. Referees were from Iran, Poland, Russia and Azerbaijan Republic./end
