Saeed bin Zayed: UAE's successful Expo 2020 bid is a source of pride for all Emiratis

Paris: H.H. Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler`s Representative, has described the UAE's success in winning the bid to host the world Expo 2020 in Dubai as a source of pride for all Emiratis and a victory for all the member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and all other Arab countries. H.H. Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed also said the UAE's victory opens up unprecedented avenues for GCC, Arab and emerging markets to strengthen their development and modernisation, and also heralds a new era for their peoples to keep pace with the progress of the world through as the event provides opportunities for exchanging ideas and visions and creating innovative solutions in the service of human development and progress. He emphasised that the achievement, which was made possible by the efforts made by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and the Expo 2020 team, proves that the UAE has earned the respect of the world. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
