Singapore-Malaysia's Annual Music Extravaganza on Friday

SINGAPORE, Oct 18 (Bernama) -- MediaCorp and Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) will stage the 7th Muzika Ekstravaganza in Singapore on Friday night. This year’s Singapore-Malaysia co-production will feature dance and music performances by a star-studded line-up, including Singapore Idol winner Sezairi Sezali and Malaysian Idol winner Jaclyn Victor. The event will be graced by Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, Singapore’s Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts and Malaysian Information, Communications and Culture Minister Dr Rais Yatim. Muzika Ekstravanganza is an annual gala variety show featuring artistes from Malaysia and Singapore. Started in 2005 as Rampaisari, Muzika Ekstravaganza underscores the close ties and collaboration between officials, broadcasters and artistes from both countries. The show will be broadcast live on MediaCorp’s Suria channel and RTM's TV2 channel from 8.30 to 10.30 pm local time. -- BERNAMA
