Violinist Hilary Hahn wins Grammy for her CD featuring Azerbaijani composer Firangiz Alizade`s work

Baku, February 9, AzerTAc Famous American violinist, megastar Hilary Hahn`s CD album “In 27 Pieces: the Hilary Hahn Encores”, featuring a composition by chairman of the Union of Composers of Azerbaijan, People`s Artist Firangiz Alizade has won a Grammy award in the best chamber music nomination. The presentation ceremony of the award was held Sunday at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. Speaking to journalists, Firangiz Alizade said: “This is a success of Azerbaijani music. I am very glad that my composition won Grammy in Hilary Hahn`s performance.”
