ENVIRONMENT AND GREEN DEVELOPMENT SYMPOSIUM RUNS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A senior officials’ symposium for environment and green development sector ran in Ulaanbaatar on Tuesday. Some 150 representatives of nature and specially protected area authorities of provinces and the capital city discussed plan implementations and project realizations of 2013, and shared views on action policies and directions of 2014. Nature, Environment and Green development Minister S.Oyun made a presentation themed "2013 Action plans implementation for the sector and green development goals" to introduce achievements of her sphere in the last year. She also said her Ministry is planning many projects for green development this year, which include those of meteorology monitoring, forest and water basin protection, specially protected area management and waste treatment.
