GREEN AWARDS GRAND PRIX GOES TO MALCHIN CO

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ministry of Environment and Green Development organized Mongolian Green Awards-2013 event on Thursday. The Ministry's Green Awards recognized outstanding achievement, leadership and innovation of governmental and non-governmental organizations, businesses and communities in environmental protection. The second time running event aspires to promote green development and support eco friendly manufacturing and green technology introduction. The awards were eligible for those who directly benefit the environment or human health, and inspire others to protect the environment. The awards were achieved in four nomination categories of Grand Prix winner (Malchin Co), best green government organization (Arkhangai province Nature and Environment Authority), best green technology (Dashvaanjil Co), best green energy (Malchin Co), best green 4r’s-reduction, reuse, recycling, recovery (National Association for Waste Recycling), best green new product (Ts.Erdene), best green media organization (ETV HD), best green water stewardship (Totcom Co), and best green forest nursery (Togol Co). The Grand Prix winner Malchin LLC was set up in 1996 for the purpose to provide herders and employees of remote local area with solar and wind electric source that serves as the second energy source with a goal to reach to people of local area and to improve their living condition. The company has pioneered in the nation’s energy sector. The company is appreciated by customers for its supply of solar and wind electric battery, TV set, satellite antenna and installation at high professional level.
